The dimensions of this hobby took on forms that resulted in the small apartment to no longer tolerable conditions. We searched a lot outside of Hamburg, which offered in addition to the house, the possibilities for a greenhouse for the butterflies. The land was found and implemented the project. After a few years, the next problem was enough space and facilities, only the professional devoured most of the time. Logically, the next step was the conversion of the hobby into a profession. The first result was the Butterfly Park in Buchholz North Heath. In 1992, a second butterfly park at the edge of Uslar was compared with an indoor swimming pool planned, constructed and put into operation in 1993 at the suggestion of the Deputy Town Clerk of the city Uslar.

After paying the entrance fee we go up the steps and soon see the carnivore house, home to Malayan tiger and Katanga lions, this house has also several terrariums. Passing a large grey house we soon see the African elephant and a bit later brown and Asian black bears. Going up hill again we now reach the sloth house where we also find toucans. Theire neighbours are Humboldt's penguin and meerkats. Across we find the flamingo lawn. After a while we see on the right a big pond with flamingos and pelicans. Behind it is a pool for South American fur seal. Kids will now love to pet goats at the petting zoo. Oposite we find the coaties. Following the way up we rich the peak and have the house for small animals like rabbits, kids can pet sheep here. Its neighbours are giant ant eater and llamas. Across we find a huge aviary for storks and egrets. Going down the hill we soon meet the yak and the miniatur pig, turning left here and left once again at the Australien enclosure we meet after a while the corsac and the binturong. Then following the llama house we meet the alpace, bharals and the emu, in this corner also a small pheasantry is hidden including prairie dogs. Folowing os the zebra horse with zebras, ponys and donkeys. At the vicugna enclosure we turn right, meet the yak once more and then turn left: After a while its time to look at owls, and the barbary sheep. Then we again walk a while and meet West Caucasian tur, northern bald ibis and griffon vulture. Following are cages for rodents and an aviary for the kea. Now we have reached the monkey house, home to several tamarin species, reptiles as well as the pygmy hippo. The next house is the chimpanzee house, beside chimpanzee it has a several aquariums, and you walk among cotton-top tamarins. Passing a small duck pond we reach the crocodile house home to the mississippi aligator, nile crocodile and the slender-snouted crocodile. Outside again we torn towards the exit to meet Rainbow lorikeets and other birds of Australia as well as squirrel monkeys
